CPSS internship program is quite popular in the students of Institute of Social & Cultural Studies, (ISCS) University of the Punjab. So far it has organized three internship program for the students of ISCS.The firs program started on July 23, 2013 and ended on September 30, 2013. The CPSS provided them opportunity to apply the knowledge in practical terms. A one day crash course was conducted on ‘Proposal Writing for Donors/Funding’. Two experts from World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Ms. Ayesha, Manager Conservation and Mehreen Program Developer, ran this training session. CPSS is indebted to them for sharing their expertise with our internees.

 CPSS also collaborated with the Institute of Islamic Strategic and Social Political Affairs (IISS) London to further hone the research skills of our internees by engaging them. The online internship program spanned over 3 months and the interns researched on regional security issues with a special focus on Pakistan and Afghanistan. They had sessions with Edward Burrell and Usama Butt Director IISS on Skype. This online
internship was concluded on October 30, 2013.

CPSS initiated its second internship program, at the end of October, comprising thirteen students selected after a written test and interviews. Two more internship programs were held in 2014. Saima khan, Research Associate at CPSS can be contacted for internship progarm.
